Background info for the "POW! WOW!" mural fest presented by Joyce Huang from MidTown.  Concepts and project details presented by Joe Lanzilotta from LAND Studio.  Proposing semi-permanent installations that can be removed in the future.  Proposing a photography installation in partnership with Shooting Without Bullets and CPL.  Don't currently have a fully explored concept yet, but would want to return to Design Review at a later date.

Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

• Would like to see the attachment details when the project returns for final approval
• Is there any concern for vandalism?
• What was the process for selecting sites/building facades?
• Is a heat applied vinyl more appropriate than the hook bolt attachment system?
• Is there a maintenance budget?
• Can you consider creating a stand alone mural installation? Take a look at the building and greenspace across the street.  This could be an opportunity to pull both sides of the street together.
